Pool Acid Wash in Lake Elsinore, CA
Stains, algae, and calcium scale can take over your pool surface and make the whole yard look tired. Our Lake Elsinore crew drains, acid washes, and refills your pool so the plaster or pebble finish comes back bright and clean.
Pool Acid Wash Services in Lake Elsinore
From a full surface reset to a targeted spot treatment, here are the acid wash jobs our Lake Elsinore crew handles for local homeowners.
Acid Wash Options We Offer in Lake Elsinore
Full Surface Acid Wash
We drain your Lake Elsinore pool to the shell and scrub the entire interior with a muriatic acid solution to strip algae stains and mineral buildup. Your plaster or pebble finish comes out brighter and feels smooth again.
Spot Stain Treatment
When one wall or step has a stubborn rust or organic stain but the rest of your Lake Elsinore pool is fine, we treat just that area with a controlled acid application. You get the stain gone without paying for a full drain.
Algae Bloom Reset
Lakeside humidity feeds algae that chlorine struggles to clear. When it has rooted into your plaster, an acid wash pulls those roots out so the green does not bounce back after a standard shock.
Mineral and Scale Removal
Valley heat and hard water leave a crusty white calcium line on Lake Elsinore tile and walls. We acid wash that scale off so the surface is clean and the water line looks crisp instead of chalky.
Plaster Brightening
The basin sun dulls Lake Elsinore pool plaster into a gray or yellow tint over the years. An acid wash etches away that stained top layer and brings back the bright finish the pool had when it was new.
Pre-Season Surface Reset
Some Lake Elsinore homeowners book an acid wash in early spring to start the season with a fresh surface. We handle the drain, the wash, and the refill so the pool is ready before the valley heat arrives.
Materials and Surfaces We Work With
Plaster, Pebble, and Quartz Finishes
We acid wash white plaster, colored plaster, pebble tec, and quartz aggregate surfaces in Lake Elsinore. Each finish reacts a little differently to acid, so we adjust the strength and dwell time to match what your pool is built from. That way we strip the stains without over-etching the surface underneath.
Muriatic Acid and Specialty Cleaners
We use muriatic acid for full surface washes and specialized descaling products for spot treatments on tile and stone. We neutralize and dispose of the waste water properly so nothing harms your Lake Elsinore landscaping or the storm drain. Our team is CPO Certified, so we handle the chemistry safely from start to finish.
How a Pool Acid Wash Visit Works
From the first surface inspection to a balanced refill, here is what happens when our crew comes out to acid wash your pool in Lake Elsinore.
Our Step-by-Step Acid Wash Process
Surface Inspection and Honest Assessment
We check your plaster or pebble condition, how deep the stains go, and whether algae is the real cause. Many Lake Elsinore pools look rough but only need a filter clean or a shock, so we tell you straight if an acid wash is more than you need.
Written Quote Before We Drain
Before we drain a drop, we send you a written quote that lays out exactly what the wash covers and how long your pool will be down. No vague ballpark figures and no surprise charges after we begin.
Drain, Mask, and Acid Wash
Once you approve, we drain the pool, protect your tile and decking, mix the acid to suit your finish, and scrub the surface wall by wall. We neutralize the waste water properly at your Lake Elsinore home so nothing harmful runs off.
Refill and Full Chemistry Balance
After the wash we refill your pool and balance the water from scratch. We set the pH, alkalinity, calcium, and chlorine so your freshly washed surface sits in balanced water that will not re-stain it right away.
Warning Signs You Need a Pool Acid Wash
Stains and scale build up slowly in Lake Elsinore pools, and at some point regular cleaning stops keeping up. If you notice any of these signs, an acid wash can reset your surface.
Common Signs We See in Lake Elsinore Backyards
- Your Lake Elsinore pool has dark green, brown, or yellow stains that brushing and chlorine will not lift
- A crusty white calcium line has formed on the tile or water line
- The pool turned green and a standard shock treatment did not clear it
- The plaster looks dull, gray, or yellowed even right after a normal cleaning
